Možnost dobrovolnictví v rámci programu EU Aid Volunteers
Středisko Diakonie ECCB hledá osm dobrovolníků, ze kterých se stanou experti v oblasti humanitární a rozvojové pomoci v rámci programu EU Aid Volunteers. Dobrovolníci mohou pomáhat v zemích, kterými jsou Nepál, Etiopie, Uganda nebo Kambodža.

Pro koho je program určen?
Tento program je otevřen všem bez rozdílu na získané zkušenosti – dobrovolníci mohou být naprostí začátečníci či ostřílení profesionálové. Hlásit se mohou zájemci, kteří jsou starší 18 let, věkový limit není omezen.
Co dobrovolníky čeká?
Dobrovolníci si projdou tréninkem dle jejich rozmístění – trénink probíhá před, během a po programu, stejně je tomu s podporou ze strany EU Aid Volunteers. Dobrovolnický program trvá v rozmezí 9 – 12 měsíců. Jsou vám pokryté veškeré náklady spojené s výdaji na cestu, pojištěním, ubytování je též hrazeno. Dobrovolníci také dostávají měsíční kapesné na jídlo a městskou dopravu.
Jak se přihlásit?
Jestliže se vám zalíbí některý z programů, které jsou v této nabídce, je třeba zaslat přihlášku, Europass CV a dotazník. Všechny tyto dokumenty k přihlašování najdete na webových stránkách Diakonie. Přihlašování probíhá do 1. 5. 2017.
Jelikož je přihlašování otevřeno všem občanům Evropské unie a občanům s dlouhodobým pobytem v EU, níže najdete anglickou verzi.
Do you remember the earthquake in Nepal 2015 ?
I’m sure you can remember at least a little bit what was the tragedy, more than 7000 persons died, after earthquake 25% of the population needed of humanitarian assistance. In one day a peaceful country turned into a needed area due to a quake of 7´8 M. In other countries can face this kind of disasters. So why was so hard in Nepal? All we know the answer, we must cooperate with others towards development of safe system against natural events. Because in fact, it is a problem for all of us.
How to help?
That’s why the EU Aid Volunteers initiative enables European citizens to contribute to humanitarian assistance in countries where help is needed. The majority of existing volunteering schemes in Europe have domestic focus and few provide opportunities to support humanitarian aid. The EU Aid Volunteers initiative brings volunteers and organizations from different countries to work together in joint projects in areas such as resilience-building, early warning, and disaster risk management, as a practical expression of solidarity with communities vulnerable to humanitarian crises.
In spring 2017 Czech NGO Diaconia ECCB is deploying 8 volunteers to Ethiopia, Nepal, Uganda and Cambodia. Apply before 1st of May 2017 and become one of EU Aid Volunteers. You will be involved in a group of European volunteers, you will get covered in all costs by EU, which are travel costs, insurance and monthly pocket money. And you will have a net of contacts, just in case you are in trouble. The stay in the hosting country will be 9 to 12 months.
And remember you will have the chance of helping and traveling at the same time. One of the best ways to travel, I’m sure, is helping. In this case all countries are beautiful. In this project there are four fates, each one diferent, even being two africand and two asiatics, there is nothing in common.
Nepal, earth of highest mountains and buddhism, the magician place. Cambodia, place of tourism beaches and beautiful ruins. Uganda, English is co-oficial language and many people consider it the pearl of Africa. Ethiopia never colonized the best place to see purity of Africa.
